As Sacred Heart School in Royersford and St. Eleanor’s School in Collegeville come together, they’ll actually share a commonality under a new name that has nothing to do with either.

Sacred Heart School in Royersford will be merged with nearby St. Eleanor’s in Collegeville under a Catholic school commission’s study released Friday by the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. Blessed Teresa of Calcutta in Limerick, and Pope John Paul II High School in Royersford remain as is.

Teachers at Pope John Paul II High School in Royersford, as well as at 16 other regional Catholic high schools, have approved a new labor agreement with the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. Students return to their schools this morning.
