Community Band Sets Its First Concert In Spring City

Shad Spawning Celebrated In Full Day Of River Activities

The role played by the American Shad, a fish that spawns in fresh water and which spawned a fishing industry that created communities all along the Schuylkill River, is celebrated Saturday during a yearly festival in Mont Clare and Phoenixville.
