Flash! Limerick Tigers Trigger Tons Of Friendly Photos

LIMERICK PA – A group of eight Limerick first-graders proved Thursday night (Dec. 5, 2013) they could be future portrait photographers.

Members of Tiger Cub Scout Pack 230 at St. James Lutheran Church, 93 Kugler Rd., played hosts to Post Managing Editor Joe Zlomek, who visited at the request of den leader Steve Charsha to talk about communication, newspapers and publishing. Zlomek explained a reporter’s job, the business of gathering news, and how it gets distributed daily in print and online.

The highlight of the night was Zlomek’s digital camera, with which each of the Tigers – Eric, Ayden, Colin, Cuyden, Asher, Tommy, Andrew and Mike – took photos of their fellow scouts. Zlomek promised they’d make the news the next day (above and below) in The Limerick Post.
