PHOENIXVILLE PA – The Pre-St. Patty’s Day Pub Crawl, Phoenixville’s early harbinger of all things Irish and green, although not necessarily in that order, returns for 2013 on March 9 (Saturday) beginning at noon to eight different restaurant, bistros and pubs on the borough’s Bridge Street.
The idea is for public participants to migrate from place to place and enjoy the hospitality of each in advance of the March 17 observance of St. Patrick’s Day.
Joining in the crawl so far, according to the PhoenixvilleDish.com foodie website, are
- Bistro On Bridge;
- The Columbia;
- Franco’s Ristorante;
- Molly Maguire’s Irish Restaurant and Pub;
- Pepperoncini’s Sotto;
- Pickering Creek Inn;
- PJ Ryans; and
- Sips Bistro and Bar.
“What I personally love about this particular Pub Crawl is the variety of craft beers that you’d normally not see at these locations,” Phoenixville Dish reporter Angela Corrado wrote Thursday (Feb. 21). “Each bar … has a designated brewery or two they put on tap or serve in bottle. It’s a great way for patrons to attempt something beyond the norm and open up their palette to some awesome beer.”
