KING OF PRUSSIA PA – Revenue from table games played at Pennsylvania’s 11 casinos amounted to $59.3 million in January (2013), including $2.55 million from 50 operating tables at the Valley Forge Casino Resort in King of Prussia, according to a report released Friday (Feb. 15) by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.
The total represents a statewide year-over-year increase of 12 percent in gross revenue compared to January 2012.
The monthly report also shows tax revenue generated from table games last month was more than $8.5 million.
When combined with earlier-reported slot machine revenue for January, combined gross gaming revenue for the month was $247,622,923, an increase of just under 2 percent increase over 2012.
