LIMERICK PA – Grown-ups get their chance to creatively dig into pumpkin slime in Limerick this weekend.
Achin’ Back Garden Center, 10 Penn Rd. – off Ridge Pike just a half-mile east of Limerick’s shared border with Lower Pottsgrove Township – will hold an adult pumpkin decorating contest Sunday (Oct. 21, 2012) from 2-3 p.m., which will be open to anyone age 18 or older. The garden center will provide the pumpkins, but participants must bring their own supplies for carving and decorating.

Pumpkins will be displayed at Achin’ Back until Oct. 28 (Sunday), so visitors and customers there can vote for their favorites. Ballots also can be cast on the company’s Facebook page, here. At week’s end, the pumpkin (and its creator) with the most votes or “likes” will win a $100 Achin’ Back gift card and gardening gift basket.
