ROYERSFORD PA – It’s apparently becoming a little crowded behind the curtains at Spring-Ford Area Senior High School.
The Board of School Directors has authorized the high school to proceed with what is called its “stage storage addition project,” which consists of a masonry block attachment to a portion of the building housing the stage. Directors want the work completed by April 15 (2013). A legal advertisement in which the school district seeks bidders for the project was published Wednesday (Oct. 10). The text of the notice follows:
NOTICE TO PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS
Spring-Ford Area School District is accepting sealed bids for the High School Stage Storage Addition Project, 350 South Lewis Rd, Royersford, PA. Work must be completed no later than Monday. April 15, 2013. Sealed bids must be received by Thursday, November 15, 2012 at 1:00 PM. at the Spring-Ford Area School District, Maintenance Office, 833 S. Lewis Road, Bldg. 1, Royersford, PA 19468.
(Work consists of concrete footing, block foundation, concrete slab on grade, split face block exterior walls, structural metal studs with standing seam roof, NO MEP WORK INCLUDED.)
Proposals shall be publicly opened at 1:05 PM. on the date noted above at the Maintenance Office, at the aforementioned address. Mandatory Pre-Bid – Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at 1 PM at High School. Bid specifications will be available starting Wednesday, October 24, 2012 and are available Monday through Friday, between 8:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M. at the Maintenance Office.
