CLEANING UP FOR AN EAGLE’S CAUSE – Members of Boy Scout Troop 230 in Limerick pitched in Saturday (Oct. 6, 2012) to help one of their own, Eagle Scout candidate Alex Lievestro (in the foreground, above), raise money to erect new bulletin boards at Limerick Community Park and Linfield Sports Park. A group of about 20 scouts and other volunteers (below) assembled in the parking lot of Penn Liberty Bank, 543 N. Lewis Rd., Limerick, to help wash cars for cash.
