LIMERICK PA – Dogs will be washed and groomed Saturday (Aug. 25, 2012) from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Penn Liberty Bank, North Lewis Road (next to the Wawa store at the Limerick-Linfield exit of U.S. Route 422) as a fund-raiser for the American Cancer Society Bark For Life of Pottstown. Pets and their owners are encouraged to attend what’s being billed as “in this fun summer event.”

Bark For Life volunteers promise to clean and pamper dogs brought to the bank parking lot, and Old English Grooming of West Ridge Pike, Limerick, will be available to offer care for nails, ears and brushing. Local caricaturist Alan MacBain also will be available to create caricatures of owners and their pets.
