KING OF PRUSSIA PA – Daily lane closures will be in effect on U.S. Route 422 westbound between its Oaks and Limerick-Linfield interchanges from Monday (July 30, 2012) through Thursday (Aug. 2) between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. as the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) conducts bridge cleaning operations, the agency’s District 6 office in King of Prussia announced.
In addition, 422 eastbound will be narrowed to one lane the Route 363 (Trooper Road) and Route 23 interchanges in West Norriton and Upper Merion townships. Those closures will occur on the same dates, but at night – between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. – for soil boring work, PennDOT said.
It advised motorists to allow extra time when traveling through either area. PennDOT reminded motorists they can visit its website, www.511pa.com, or call 511 from any phone to check traffic conditions on major highways.
