ROYERSFORD PA – Main Street between 1st and 2nd avenues in Royersford will be closed from Aug. 6-10 as the Norfolk Southern Railroad replaces a rail crossing there, according to the District 6 office of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, based in King of Prussia.
During the replacement operation, Main Street through-traffic will be detoured over 2nd Avenue, Arch Street and 1st Avenue. Local access will be maintained up to the construction zone. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the area.
