Last year’s Community Day car show
ROYERSFORD PA – The borough’s annual and free Royersford Community Day, which organizers happily claim was a rousing success last year, is scheduled for Sept. 8 (2012; Saturday) from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. between the 300 and 500 blocks of Main Street.

Business owner Connie Lawson of Sweet Ashley’s Chocolate, a tireless Community Day promoter, said this year’s musical attractions on two different stages include performances by the bands Double Vision, and The Kind, and soloist Jon Oelschlager. Activities also include a classic car show, motorcycle show, dog show, artisans and crafters, a business expo, several food vendors, and free games for children.
