LIMERCK PA – Khaled Hassan PE – who most often represents Limerick Township‘s engineering firm, Pennoni Associates, during the Board of Supervisors’ meetings – has been promoted to the position of associate vice president in Pennoni’s King of Prussia PA office, the firm announced.
“Khal has demonstrated the skills, values, integrity, pride in his profession, and business acumen necessary to represent our firm as an officer,” Pennoni President and CEO Tony Bartolomeo said of Hassan. The promotion took effect May 1 (2012).
Hassan serves as director for the King of Prussia office, managing its day-to-day operations as well as working to cultivate new and existing clients. He previously served as a Senior Engineer for Pennoni’s Civil, Site and Landscape Architecture Division.
Hassan has more than 18 years of experience in design and construction management, storm and sanitary sewers, road culverts, and stream rehabilitation projects He also knowledgeable in project management, zoning and land development.
He is a graduate of Temple University, where he earned a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering. A licensed Professional Engineer in both Pennsylvania and Delaware, Hassan is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, and a Past President of the Pennsylvania Society of Professional Engineers’ Philadelphia chapter.
