STOWE PA – Giant Food Stores, which operates supermarkets in Royersford, Phoenixville, Stowe, Gilbertsville, and North Coventry,  on Thursday (June 14, 2012) said it would sell for a limited time reusable shopping bags printed with logos of the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, as a fund-raiser to benefit their efforts in fighting childhood diseases and injuries.

Giant is donating 10 cents to the network for every bag sold. It also will conduct an in-store campaign from June 24 (Sunday) through July 7 (Saturday) during which its customers will have the opportunity to donate $1 to the hospitals as they check out.

Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals is an non-profit alliance of 170 hospitals for children across North America.
