LIMERICK PA – A race car technology company that already operates in Limerick Township wants to install auto lifts in its building at 319 Commerce Ct., Unit 101, to maintain and repair race vehicles, but must win approval from the Zoning Hearing Board to do so.

A hearing on the matter is set for Wednesday (May 23, 2012) at 7 p.m. in the municipal building, 646 W. Ridge Pike, Limerick, according to a legal advertisement published Monday (May 14). The text of the notice appears below. The meeting is open to the public.

LIMERICK TOWNSHIP ZONING HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, in accordance with the Limerick Township Zoning Ordinance of 1961, as amended, of a hearing before the Limerick Township Zoning Hearing Board on Wednesday, May 23, 2012, at 6:30 p.m. at the Limerick Township Municipal Building, 646 West Ridge Pike, Limerick, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, 19468, on the Application of Innovative Racing Technology, Inc., 762 Lookout Lane, Wayne, Pennsylvania 19087.

The Applicant is a tenant of property located at 319 Commerce Court, Unit 101, Limerick Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, owned by LABC-3&4, LP, a Pennsylvania Limited Partnership, identified as Tax Parcel No. 37-00-00614-89-7 (hereinafter “Subject Property”). The Subject Property is located in an O/LI Zoning District and is presently used as a warehouse and office for a race car technology company. The Applicant is proposing to install auto lifts for the maintenance and repair of race vehicles and is seeking a variance or, in the alternative, an interpretation from Section 184-155 of the Limerick Township Zoning Ordinance to permit automotive repair/maintenance in the O/LI District.

At the time of the hearing, any person or party interested will be given full opportunity to be heard. The Board reserves the right to conduct such other business as may come before it.
