EVERYTHING INCLUDES THE SOUTHERN – Julian Pizzica, 3, of Limerick PA entertained himself Saturday (May 5, 2012) with a bright red toy train labeled “Kansas City Southern,” while his mother and brother Joseph, 6, browsed a table at the “Evans Everything Sale,” a community yard sale conducted by the Evans Home And School Association from 8 a.m. to noon at Evans Elementary School, Sunset Road, Limerick. The event was once known as “the Mommy Market,” but that name seemed too limiting for the array of crafts, antiques, unwanted treasures and, yes, kids’ clothes and toys, that many people wanted to sell. The day’s weather was pleasant, so vendors set up tables in the parking lot outside the school. Drivers seeing both sale signs and the parking lot activity pulled in for a bargain or two.
