
Perkiomen Creek
SCHWENKSVILLE PA – A peaceful, early springtime hike along the Perkiomen Creek and surrounding trails is the treat staff members of Central Perkiomen Park on Plank Road, one mile south of Schwenksville PA, have in mind for visitors there Saturday (March 24, 2012) beginning at 4 p.m. fromĀ the ranger station. The event is free, open to the public, and will be held rain or shine.

Park rangers will discuss resources they find during the walk, then finish with a tour of the park’s Old Mill House to describe its rich history. Wearing comfortable walking shoes and appropriate outdoor dress is advised. Advance registration is required. For more information or to register call Sue Ward at the park, 610-287-6970.
Central Perkiomen Valley Park is located six miles north of Collegeville PA, can be entered from Plank Road via either Routes 73 or 29.
