WORCESTER PA – The work of award-winning artist Patricia Wilson-Schmid of Lederach PA will be on display Saturday (Dec. 3, 2011) as Montgomery County’s historic Peter Wentz Farmstead, 2100 Schultz Rd., Worcester PA, opens from 2-8 p.m. for its annual holiday Candlelight Tour.

The Wentz Farmstead during snowier times
Wilson-Schmid, who has painted since 1962 and now dedicates full time to her art, works in oil, watercolor, acrylic and pastel with a style that ranges from representational to abstract. This show features mainly local landscapes and historic buildings, and her original artwork along with giclee prints will be exhibited in the farmstead’s visitor’ center through December.
“My desire is to have others experience my art as a part of their lives, a connection between people, generations and time,” Wilson-Schmid said. “We are delighted to have Pat’s artwork,” farmstead Administrator Dianne Cram added. “It adds a wonderful new dimension to our festivities during Candlelight Tour and throughout the season.”
The tour, open to the public, displays the restored 18th century Pennsylvania German historic site as it would have been decorated during the holiday season.
