DISHES? MAYBE. CLOTHING? PROBABLY. FERRETS? … YEAH! – While any number of curiosities might be available for purchase at a yard sale, one of the most interesting items being offered Saturday (Aug. 6, 2011) during a sale outside Limerick Bowl, 653 W. Ridge Pike, Limerick PA, were two ferrets (above) complete with cage, hammocks, food, a litter box, a playpen and toys. It was all yours for only $160, a 60-percent discount. The well-attended sale (below) raised funds to benefit the Limerick Bowling League Booster Club’s scholarship fund. Shopping didn’t appeal to eveyone there, though; just ask the youngster involved with the video game on his handheld device (bottom).
