One individual's view from the local road.

LIMERICK PA – Familiar surroundings can look decidedly different, or at the very least can been interpreted in new ways, when seen through different eyes. That may be the lesson to be learned in a Saturday (Oct. 23, 2010) video of Limerick, Royersford and Schwenksville PA neighborhoods, set to music written by Bruce Springsteen.

The video, titled “My Hometown without a large corporation playing Big Brother,” was posted during the weekend and is accompanied by the Springsteen-penned “My Hometown,” although the music is performed by an unidentified musician and singer.

It consists primarily of rural and commercial scenes shot from a moving vehicle, with a particular focus on Exelon Nuclear’s Limerick Generating Station.
