Spring-Ford High Open House Welcomes Parents

FOR MANY, A FIRST CHANCE TO SEE THE EXPANDED BUILDING – Spring-Ford Senior High School opened its doors Tuesday (Sept. 21, 2010) and threw out a welcome mat for parents and district residents as it held its annual open house. Members of the Golden Rams’ marching band, above, provided entertainment outside the auditorium entrance at the North Lewis Road, Royersford PA, campus, while visitors, below, streamed through the doors for what was, for many, a first look inside the expanded building.

Parents got themselves acclimated to a classroom once again, above, as they made their rounds through shortened, simulated sessions intended to mimic their children’s school day. On their way to meet teachers some visitors, below, inspected artworks that filled walls and display cases. They gave proud relatives a chance to smile at the accomplishments of family members.

Meanwhile, still outside, band members finished their last number, below, while a group of parents and friends, at bottom, talked and tapped their feet in time to the music.
