Phoenixville Blob Fest Gets Another Good Travel Review

PHOENIXVILLE PA – “They say movies don’t happen in real life. On the contrary, the small town of Phoenixville in Pennsylvania comes to ‘reel life’ every year with The Blobfest festival, which is held to commemorate the 1958 classic hit movie, ‘The Blob’.”

So starts the latest travel review of Phoenixville PA’s annual Blob Fest ritual, most recently found last Wednesday (April 14, 2010) on the Travel O’ Destination website. The full review discusses the roles of borough residents and the Colonial Theater, and how visitors to the festival also can get involved.
