They paid how much?

LIMERICK PA – The top price for real estate sold within the township from Sept. 14-18, 2009, came in at $468,555, the Philadelphia Inquirer newspaper reports. The property is located at 37 Rutherford Ct.

  • A second, at 407 Kilarney Way, sold for $280,000;
  • A third, at 143 Masters Dr., sold for $275,000;
  • A fourth, at 193 Bayberry Dr., sold for $240,000; and
  • A fifth, at 3007 Gateway Dr., sold for $225,000.

This week’s top reported prices were listed Sunday (Dec. 6, 2009) in “The Top 50,” the newspaper’s weekly review of highest prices paid for homes sold within the city of Philadelphia and townships in its surrounding counties.

By contrast, during the same period, the top real estate sales price in Royersford PA Borough, immediately to the southeast, $179,500; Lower Pottsgrove PA Township, southwest, $269,900; Upper Providence PA Township, east, $475,000; Perkiomen PA Township, northeast, $305,000; Lower Frederick PA Township, north, $199,000; Upper Frederick PA Township, northwest, $384,900; and in New Hanover PA Township, west, $395,000.
