Up The Tracks, Past The Towers

LIMERICK PA – Norfolk Southern general freight train No. 14G rolls eastbound on Track 2, past Exelon Nuclear’s Limerick Generating Station (LGS), in this brief video filmed and posted Oct. 28, 2009, at the YouTube video sharing service. The train looks as though it’ll rumble right over your face!

For locomotive aficiandos, it should be noted the cars are “behind a horsehead GE and an Abrams switcher 3rd back,” according to notes accompanying the video. We don’t know what that means, but we’ll bet people really into freight trains surely do.
